2021 Supplier of the Year Award Winners Announced
APA members have voted and the results are in! The Supplier of the Year awards are presented for each of EWTA’s membership categories: Equipment and Tooling, Materials and Supplies, and Consulting and Services. The Innovation of the Year award recognizes a company providing new technology, product or service that reduces production costs, increases productivity, improves product quality or in some other way provides a bottom-line benefit to APA members.
Following are the 2021 winners for each of the categories.

Call for EWTA Member Input
In 2011, the Engineered Wood Technology Association started sending an annual Business Outlook survey to EWTA members at the start of the year. The web-based survey is posed with questions designed to capture EWTA members’ perception of growth, company employment levels and other business-related issues. The anonymous survey results will be summarized and featured in the Spring Engineered Wood Journal.

APA, EWTA Members Speaking at PELICE
Several APA and EWTA members are scheduled to present and exhibit at the 2022 Panel and Engineered Lumber International Conference and Expo (PELICE) March 31 – April 1 at the Omni Hotel at the CNN Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The event, hosted by Panel World magazine, features nearly 100 equipment and technology exhibitors in the structural and nonstructural wood panel and engineered lumber industry. EWTA will also be exhibiting.

Spring EWTA Advisory Committee Meeting
The spring EWTA Advisory Committee will meet Wednesday afternoon, March 30, prior to the 2022 Panel and Engineered Lumber International Conference and Expo. In the coming weeks, advisory committee members will be notified via email with additional details. All EWTA members are welcome to attend.

Spring Engineered Wood Journal Deadlines Coming Soon
Preparation for the Engineered Wood Journal’s 2022 spring issue is underway, with distribution scheduled for early April. This issue includes a summary of EWTA members’ annual business outlook, the 2022 EWTA Membership Directory and other association and industry news.
Feature articles and stories covering topics of broad interest and significance to the engineered wood products industry are welcome. Writer’s Guidelines and the 2022 Media Kit, available on the EWTA website, provide information on editorial and advertising opportunities. The deadline for editorial content and advertising sales is Feb. 14. For additional information, contact EWTA.
On-Demand APA 2021 General Session Available
If you missed the live version of APA’s 2020 General Session Business Meeting, an on-demand recording is available. The General Session includes the "State of the Industry" and "State of the Association" addresses by APA Chairman Roy O. Martin III and APA President Mark Tibbetts.
